Darien Zaros, at your service.
Since this war is far from over, Sierra, Arex, Delrith, and the knights and I have decided to pull you into my world. You may become an apprentice, if necessary. Yes, we may send you into war, but we are fighting for our freedom.
Oh right, Dominic, has taken a step up in his dream to become a Knight of the Round Tables. He is now an Apprentice in the Knight's Isles, gone in our time of need, but we shall survive. God hope this isnt a trap.
Flint is being Flint; rude, obnoxious, and problem is, i cant find the pendant!
I need to practice all i can for the war.

This section of the book is very mysterious, at the same time, it is revealing... making sure i dont spoil it for you I will cut it short;

The fire was slowly dying out, Darien returned with a pile of logs in his arms, Delrith was curled up head lifted high, shaking voilently. "Being a water dragon I would think that you are Immune to the cold." Darien told him. "No... C-cant you just throw those logs on there?" He snapped. "ok, whatever." was Darien's reply as he threw all the logs onto the fire, quickly it burst into hot scorching flames. Darien's face was almost lit on fire from the heat, he pulled his sleeong bag and weapons away from the fire. Suddenly without warning the sky went dark, black clouds rolled in, Darien wondered if rain was going to come, apparently not... the temperature dropped also, making darien and delrith scoot closer into the fire. The fire twisted itself, looked like the flames were people, wait.. the flames did have shaped of people, one tall one, hair that went just above his eyebrows, a large crouched over dragon with horns atop of his head. "(cancelling out name) have you finished Darien and his dragon off yet?" the tall one with very short hair asked, he looked older, "No my lord Iceradoses," The one Iceradoses just addressed answered. "Track him down, kill him... tell everyone that say him that it was just their pitiful human imaginiations." Iceradoses answered. The one he addressed bowed down, "I will do so with pleasure, (??? mans dragons name), seek..." Laughing echoed the forest as the clouds rolled out, the temperature rose, and the fire untwisted itself...

Darien is a boy living in a world where fantasy is hidden, merely sixteen years of age. Living in a small house in the woods. His parent's died and he is now living with his parent's friend, also growing up with a "brother" Hayden. Darien's known as one of the best hunters in the land of Seradyl. Hunting in the Dragon's Head, a deathly place where no one goes except the greatest hunters. With winter nearing game is easier to track, but it is also a fight for life as the food stock at Darien's home is low. Hunting for a deer he finds an aquatic blue stone with dark blue veins flowing through it. Thinking of it as a treasure he takes it home. And that's when his life changes forever...
